Dave Brubaker

"Effortless... Timeless... Velvety... Smooth"

His Music Tells A Story

Bio -

Empty Stage

Dave Brubaker is an acclaimed singer who began singing professionally in the 1970's with the release of his first solo album of Christian music, followed by 5 more albums and a published songbook of his own compositions. Dave performed as many as 200 solo concerts per year in cities & towns located in all but 6 states.

Today, at age 74, Dave's musical journey continues to move forward by keeping alive many of the Big Band songs of the Crooner era... along with other memorable songs his generation grew up with.

Let me take you on a musical journey ... a step-back in time... when variety shows saturated our black & white TV screens with velvety smooth voices crooning classic love songs that melted our hearts.   Born in 1950, my desire is to rekindle those memories & feelings in the hearts of my audiences.

Note to Venue Planners:

After moving to the Villages. when my wife and I visited eateries, we expected to hear music of the 60's and 70's... that the majority of us villagers grew up with. But that's not what they played.

Very few entertainers sing the songs that trigger fond memories of when

we fell in love, bought our first Car... first Date... first Job... Engagement...

Wedding... Home and family that gathered around our black & white

TV sets on Sunday night to watch the Ed Sullivan show sometimes

featuring Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, the Beatles, Elvis, or... the Andy Williams

or Perry Como shows.

And from the 80's... Glyn Campbell, Kenny Rogers, Ann Murry, Beatles, Monkeys, Temptations,   Marvin Gaye, Tom Jones, Englebert and many more like them.

While a small element still likes rock music, most of our Villages peers are asking, "Where can we hear classic love songs that trigger warm memories of days gone by?"  That's what I do...
